Authoring business requirements for functionality to be delivered as part of the TriZetto product portfolio. Collaborating with other stakeholders to create the high-level designs and the detailed functional design artifacts that will be used to develop TriZetto products and solutions. Serving as a subject matter expert in all areas of the software development life cycle (i.e., software engineering, quality assurance, and technical communications), assists customer support, sales and consulting/implementation services.

Role: Individual Contributor External Facing Role
Essential Functions:
· Manage the entire product lifecycle for assigned solutions, from understanding market to prioritizing enhancements for development. Own the successful delivery of new releases through initiative ideation, development, beta and launch.
· Evangelize the value of our solution to both internal stakeholders and externally to prospective and existing customers at events. Create and commercialize new offers in the marketplace.
· Work closely with PM leadership on how product strategy impacts the solution. Monitor and manage successful delivery of features defined in the solution roadmap with respective teams throughout the development life cycle. Identify risks and remove impediments, discover opportunities for improvement, and keep senior management and others informed.
· Run customer groups as required. Represent solution in sales meetings, QBRs and other strategic sessions. Create roadmaps and present to prospects and internal customers.
· Negotiate internal and external customer requests, industry and marketplace changes, and company strategic initiatives to manage development capacity or services expansion to meet customers' needs and the company's strategic vision.
· Maintain a solid understanding of the marketplace to ensure that the right solutions or services are available at the right time.
· Assist with the management of a current portfolio, including packaging and pricing, and assist in developing business cases to bring new initiatives to market. Work closely with Sales and Accounting to resolve any client payment issues related to solutions or services. Provide tactical support to other internal initiatives such as sales training, collateral development, and solution performance.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in a STEAM discipline. An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be taken into consideration in lieu of a degree.
Required Experience:
· Minimum of 15 years of professional/industry experience in product companies
· Minimum of 5 years of Healthcare (Health Plan) industry experience
· Minimum of 4 years' related experience in a software development environment using Agile methodologies
Desired Experience:
· Experience with Payer Claims Adjudication, Utilization Management, Prior Authorization workflows
· Experience with Interoperability standards (HL7 FHIR, EDI, CCD etc.)
· Experience with provider clinical products/prior authorization workflows a plus
Behavioral Competencies:
· Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with business and technical stakeholders
· Strong presentation skills with the ability to present to all levels of management
· Excellent facilitation, negotiation, influencing and problem solving skills
Technical Competencies:
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
