This task is soooooo freaking good. Too bad the Slayer masters do not allow you to extend it.

Dust devils

Barrageable task. Cannot finish the task with just 30 charges in Explorer's Ring 4 lol. Superior spawn is very annoying to deal with

Bloodvelds

Preferred location: Mutated bloodvelds at Meiyerditch Laboratories (7 spawns)

Completed Sins of the Father quest to unlock Meiyerditch Laboratories to get to the cannonable multi-combat guys. No food required with Protect from Melee. Good loot

Trolls
Slayer task weight: 6

Preferred location: Ice trolls north of Jatizso (11 spawns (6 with good loot, 5 without): 5 ice troll males (3 variant 1s who drop ice troll loot and 2 variant 2s with mountain troll sh*tty loot), 2 ice troll females (1 variant 1 who drop ice troll loot and 1 variant 2 who drops nothing but bones), 4 ice troll runts (2 variant 1s who drop ice troll loot and 2 variant 2s with mountain troll sh*tty loot))
Personal xp/hr: 40k~50k
Notes: Cannonable, multi-combat area, bring Neitiznot shield, bracelets of slaughter, cannon and cannonballs, melee enhancing potions, special attack weapon, prayer restoration items, bonecrusher, herb sack, gem bag, soul bearer, High Alchemy runes, and food
Used to go to Mount Quidamortem but sick of the sh*tty loot there along with there being only 7 spawns so cannon downtime is huge. Decided to give Jatizso a try and found it much better. Protection from Melee is still required since the melee trolls hit hard. Ranged trolls can be mitigated with Neitiznot shield and a bit of food.
Alternatively, can fight both Arrg and Ice Troll King in Nightmare Zone.

😆Good experience rates, but unfortunately no loot
No option to extend these tasks as well

Dagannoths

Completed Fremennik Exiles quest to unlock Isle of Stone to get to the melee-only guys. 17 spawns in northeast area of Jormungand's Prison where I frequent. Very fast since cannonable, and no food required since only Protect from Melee required. Drops are bad but can't complain when experience rates are really good

Abyssal demons
Slayer task weight: 12
Slayer task quantity: 200 - 250 (extended!)
Preferred location: Catacombs of Kourend
Personal xp/hr: 60k~65k
Notes: Barrageable, multi-combat area, bring bracelets of slaughter, darts, saturated heart, prayer restoration items, Ice Barrage runes, ash sanctifier, soul bearer, gem bag, and herb sack
Used to do them with venator bow but would thoroughly hate doing them as their teleporting gimmicks would slow me down from picking up their ashes to use Demonic Offering on. Bought and used a teleport anchoring scroll to prevent them from doing so, and now I am just barraging them and getting much higher experience rates.
Task seems to require abyssal weapons to drop to be profitable hence them in this tier.

Kalphites
Slayer task weight: 9

Preferred location: Kalphite soldiers at Kalphite Cave northeast (10 spawns)

Notes: Cannonable, multi-combat area, bring keris partisan, bracelets of slaughter, cannon and cannonballs, melee enhancing potions, special attack weapon, prayer restoration items, antipoison, herb sack, gem bag, soul bearer, and High Alchemy runes
10 spawns in northeast area of Kalphite Cave where I frequent. Good experience rates since cannonable, and no food required since only Protect from Melee required. Unfortunately needs antipoison. Drops are bad but can't complain when experience rates are good

😅Would preferably not do these if possible, but at least they are fast to get over and done with hahaha

Unlocked this task just so I can use the damage and accuracy bonus of the slayer helm in my attempt to get the fire cape. Never bothered doing the Fight Caves ever since. This task is still a free skip by entering and leaving the Fight Caves however, so I can't really complain

Black dragons

Fast when unextended, only 10 - 20. I usually get it out of the way quickly by bullying baby black dragons

Dark beasts

Preferred location: Mourner Tunnels

Notes: Single-combat area. Bring Osmumten's fang, expeditious bracelets, special attack weapon, melee enhancing potions, food, herb sack, bonecrusher, and High Alchemy runes
Fast when unextended, with a quantity of only 10 ~ 20 per task. Convenient to get to as well, with slayer ring teleport

Ankous
Slayer task weight: 5
Slayer task quantity: 50 - 80 (unextended)
Preferred location: Catacombs of Kourend (10 spawns)
Personal xp/hr: 25k~35k
Notes: Barrageable, multi-combat area, bring ranging potion, prayer restoration items, expeditious bracelets, and bonecrusher
Initially tried barraging them. Despite being size 1x1 in Catacombs of Kourend with 10 spawns (and therefore theoretically perfect for barraging), they are in a huge area (so you need to run a lot to tag all of them) and they lose aggro easily (so requires more tagging), plus they have low HP (so they die easily, and you need to run around to tag their respawns), so they are a huge pain in the butt to gather and barrage. Opinions drastically changed after trying the venator bow, making them a fast, low-effort task, and bringing it from the top of 😓-tier to the second top of 😅-tier

Steel dragons
Slayer task weight: 7
Slayer task quantity: 10 - 20 (unextended)
Preferred location: Catacombs of Kourend
Personal xp/hr: 20k~25k
Notes: Multi-combat area, bring expeditious bracelets, extended antifire potion, ancient wyvern shield, and saturated heart
Fast when unextended, only 10 - 20. Extended antifire potion + ancient wyvern shield ensures no damage

😒Very easy choice to outright skip them due to their low weight

Blue dragons
Slayer task weight: 4
Slayer task quantity: 110 - 170
I tried doing Vorkath instead. Spent 25 minutes getting 7 kills then realized the quantity of the task is way too much and so this task would take way too long. Sure it's profitable, but requires serious attention and the experience rates are bad too. Plus you don't get any slayer helmet bonus despite being a slayer helmet since the salve amulet has better bonuses and does not stack so you won't bring your slayer helmet. Think I'll just skip this task for now

Iron dragons
Slayer task weight: 5
Slayer task quantity: 40 - 60 (unextended)
Never tried this task before given its low weight, but it has bad experience rates according to OSRS wiki so I am intending to skip it even if I get it

I decided to try one task out since they have a low quantity, and oh my God no way am I going back there again. I tried killing one, and it took so freaking long, and the second one brought me to such low health that I just teleported out, grabbed my Karamja gloves to teleport to Duradel, and tell him to take my freaking 30 points so I can skip this stupid task loooool

Waterfiends

Cave horrors
Slayer task weight: 4
Slayer task quantity: 130 - 200 (unextended)
Location is a pain in the ass to get to. Despite being cannonable, they are in a single-combat zone, so your cannon can only fire at one target at once. Their special attack induces an animation in your character and causes your attacks to be delayed, reducing your damage output. You are required to equip witchwood icon as well, restricting your choice in neck jewellery. Thoroughly a pain in the ass to fight. At least they have a low weight, so they are an easy skip.

😖I hate doing these tasks so much that it is an immediate skip the moment I get them. Would definitely block if I have more slots

Gargoyles
Slayer task weight: 8
Slayer task quantity: 130 - 200 (unextended)
Preferred location: Slayer Tower basem*nt (12 spawns)
Personal xp/hr: 15k~20k
Notes: Single-combat area, bring expeditious bracelets, special attack weapon, melee enhancing potions, rock hammer, gem bag, High Alchemy runes, and food
Unable to cannon or barrage. Used to do this task because the money is good, but sadly this task is too slow and makes an already slow skill even more unbearably slow.

Black demons
Slayer task weight: 8

Preferred location: Chasm of Fire
Notes: Cannonable, single-combat area, bring ash sanctifier
There is a safespot in Chasm of Fire so your cannon can hit as many targets as it can if you avoid being attacked despite being single-combat. Despite that, your cannon usually can only target up to three black demons due to the safespot being in a corner of the dungeon, as well as the huge sizes of each black demon. Bad experience rates and bad loot. Would used to tolerate these but have accumulated enough slayer points to prefer just skipping them since they take so long

Fire giants
Slayer task weight: 7
Slayer task quantity: 130 - 200
Preferred location: Stronghold Slayer Dungeon
Notes: Cannonable, single-combat area, bring bonecrusher
There is a safespot in Gnome Stronghold Slayer Dungeon so your cannon can hit as many targets as it can if you avoid being attacked despite being single-combat. Despite that, your cannon can only target up to three fire giants due to the fire giants being compartmentalized. Bad experience rates and bad loot. Would used to tolerate these but have accumulated enough slayer points to prefer just skipping them since they take so long

Suqahs
Slayer task weight: 8
Slayer task quantity: 60 - 90 (unextended)
Preferred location: Lunar Isle northwest
Notes: Cannonable, multi-combat area, bring bonecrusher
I hate doing these, because they have two attack styles and would stick to the one that you are not praying against. As such, you would need to both pray and eat lots of food on the damage received from the other attack style, or they would just outright murder you in said multi-combat area. The loot is extremely bad too. Hate them so much. Would definitely block if I am given more slots. Would used to tolerate these but have accumulated enough slayer points to prefer just skipping them since they take so long

Aberrant spectres
Slayer task weight: 7
Slayer task quantity: 130 - 200 (unextended)
I have only tried this task in Stronghold Slayer Cave, where despite being cannonable, the place is a single-combat area so even your cannon can only fire at one target at once. To make things worse, they attack with magic so most of the time is spent with you running to them instead of them running to you. They drop a lot of herbs but I have no herb sack which necessitates the need for me to bank frequently, which is another huge pain in the ass. Would definitely block if I have more slots.

Spiritual creatures
Slayer task weight: 7

I was assigned this task by Nieve previously and have tried both the ranged and melee variants since my Slayer level then was sufficient for those but not the mage. No cannon and no barrage, since they are in God Wars Dungeon with everyone and their mothers all fighting one another inside. Your equipment is also restricted due to the need to wear certain God-aligned equipment for aggro protection. Bad experience rates since you needed to run towards and kill them one-by-one. I previously did not block them since I heard the mages have good loot, but ended up blocking them after making this tier list

Skeletal wyverns
Slayer task weight: 7
Slayer task quantity: 20 - 40 (unextended)
I have never attempted this task before, but I can clear tell that it would not be a pleasant one. Bad experience rates according to OSRS wiki as well, so ended up blocking them after making this tier list

Fossil Island Wyverns
Slayer task weight: 5
Slayer task quantity: 20 - 50 (unextended)
Was forced to try this task since when I was previously assigned it, I did not have the 500 Slayer points required for the special Fossil Island Wyvern block. No idea what it has its own special block mechanic, but given that it allows us to have one more block slot, I am not complaining! Fast task given low quantity assigned, but since blocking this task does not use up your block slots, was an easy block for me.

Hellhounds
Slayer task weight: 10
Slayer task quantity: 130 - 200
Very commonly assigned task, with a high weight at 10. They have a 2x2 size, so you are unable to stack them to barrage. They have no cannonable spots at multi-combat areas outside of the wilderness. No good drops from them as well. Cannot think of any reasons at all to do this task. Very easy decision to block.

Greater Demons
Slayer task weight: 9
Slayer task quantity: 130 - 200 (unextended)
All the same reason as hellhounds above. Another easy block.

Wyrms
Slayer task weight: 8
Slayer task quantity: 100 - 160
Was forced to try this task a couple of times since I got assigned them by Nieve when I was desperate for Slayer reward points to unlock slayer ring. Holy sh*t I hate this task soooo damn much. They are located in Karuulm Slayer Dungeon so footwear is restricted (I would forget about it a few times and end up having to bank just to retrieve suitable footwear). Not cannonable as well, plus they have two different attack styles so you would need to pray against magic plus bring food to eat against their melee attacks if you are using melee against them. Bad experience rates on top of it. Gave up after a few times and decided to block it; never was so glad to block another task.

Drakes
Slayer task weight: 8
Slayer task quantity: 50 - 110
Just recently got level 84 Slayer and unlocked this task, so never did it before. Considering my hatred for wyrms and the fact that drakes share a few similaries such as 1. being located in Karuulm Slayer Dungeon thereby restricting choice in footwear, 2. having multiple attack styles requiring you to pray against one and eat food against the other, 3. not being able to use a cannon, as well as an additional point that wyrms do not have of 4. having bullsh*t movement gimmicks that I thoroughly hate, I will be definitely blocking this task.
Finally got my 6th and 7th block slots after beating Desert Treasure II and getting quest cape for Lumbridge Elite Diary's completion, and so this task earns my 6th block slot!

Cave krakens
